External Report on 2018 Election Issues Released

BerryDunn, the consulting firm hired by Maricopa County to review Election Day processes and related issues, has released its capstone report. The purpose of BerryDunn's work was threefold: to ensure that the Recorder's Office is implementing the recommendations made by the Internal Audit Department in their Interim Report; to identify additional issues that impacted voters in the 2018 Primary Election; and, to offer recommendations that could lead to a better voter experience in November and future elections. The findings in the BerryDunn report were shared with the Recorder's Office in real-time over the past several weeks to allow sufficient time for recommendations to be incorporated into the overall Election plan.

This report is one part of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors' larger effort to account for issues in the 2018 Primary Election and ensure the best possible outcome in the November election. This work is documented on a public website.
