[ARCHIVED] It’s Winter time – wonder how you can help dogs in need?

It’s Winter time – wonder how you can help dogs in need?

With a successful Turkey Tasters event over Thanksgiving, we’re now hosting a Winter WonderDog foster event beginning December 17th!

We’re asking that fosters give a dog a home for the holidays. The much-needed break from the shelter can help dogs relax and “chill out”. Plus, we can learn more about the dogs from our fosters so they can find their perfect match. Who knows, maybe their perfect match is their foster!

We ask that Winter WonderDog foster pups stay in foster through at least January 4th to help prevent shelter overcrowding ; fosters can keep the dogs longer if they’d like!

Potential fosters must complete a foster application by December 23rd to receive their Winter WonderDog “ticket” so they can present it and select an appropriate foster for their family to welcome for the holiday.

Both MCACC shelters will host the event and “Wag Bags” will be provided for each foster while supplies last. Some Wag Bags have a bonus $100 PetSmart gift card to spoil the foster pup during their stay courtesy of our awesome supporters at Community Canine Project and Two Pups Wellness Fund!

Fosters can pick up their Winter WonderDogs between December 17th and December 23rd.

  • East shelter pickup is from 11:30am – 2pm.
  • West shelter pickup is from 2:30pm – 5pm.

Eligible dogs weigh more than 30 pounds and hope to keep your spirits bright this holiday! We wish you joy, peace, and wagging tails!
