Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day!  Wednesday, April 19, 2023


Cycling to work promotes physical activity, improves air quality, and reduces traffic. Join Maricopa County, the City of Phoenix, Valley Metro, and fellow bike enthusiasts in celebration of Valley Bike Month!  

Register for Bike to Work Day by April 7!

Schedule of Events:

  •  6:15 -6:45 AM Check in starts at Park Central | 3141 N. 3rd Ave, Phoenix
    • T-shirts are first come, first served. Participants must register and check-in to receive breakfast, t-shirts, and to enter a drawing for prizes!
  • 7:00 AM Police-guided bike ride starts | Bike Route  
    • Please Note: The bike route is subject to change on the day of the event, due to construction. 
  • 7:30 AM Finish Line Reception will be off of Adams at City Hall Plaza - East of the Orpheum Theater | 203 W Adams St, Phoenix 
    • Enjoy a light breakfast and words from our distinguished guests.

  • 8:00 AM Event conclusion | We hope to see you next year! 


Attention: You must bring your own bike for the event.  If you've participated in the past, please note that due to the light rail project, the end point for the 2023 event has changed. The end event will take place at City Hall Plaza, east of the Orpheum Theater. During the event, bikes can be parked on Adams, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue. 

Maricopa County employees can earn one "Your Choice" activity credit for participating. 
Employees must register, sign-in at the event, complete the event, then log into the Wellness Portal to report their participation.
